it is the cruelist day of the year to 10% of the population becuase the other 90 percent get something from there significant other or just some body who they like. were as the other 10% of the people get rejected and therefor become very depressed after wasting time and effert only to get a lets be freinds or maybe if the person is really crule they get luaghed at. Oh yeah i am totally seeing the love in this holiday. im jewish and i think easter is a better holiday then valintines or i may just be some idiot who will never have a girlfreind or a significant other. but why do we have a holiday that is specifically designed to profide bonus's to the halmark people.

I don't bother with all this valentines nonsense anyway - it's all a big commercial marketing ploy and an opportunity for people, as you have found out, to be hurtful and cruel. I just pay it absolutely no heed whatsoever - it's just another day to me. I don't take a huge amount of notice of many human rituals to be honest - I would even ignore Easter and Christmas if people would stop ramming them down my throat at every turn. I don't have any religion at all, so all this nonsense is kind of meaningless anyway.

Alien Lord - just enjoy being friends with females, the best long-term relationships more often than not, spring from a good friendship. I should know, I've been with my current male over 15 years, and not once have we had a really cross word. We both still enjoy a full sex-life too. A close friendship can also let you get to know each other very well without the pressures of sex getting in the way - if you can get on really well, the sex part will happen when the time is right. Just be patient and let it happen rather than trying to force it, and don't give commercialised holidays like this one any of your time.

I don't have a great deal of money, occasionally I've had to go hungry before, just to make sure my bills are paid - esspecially in winter - and I've better things to spend what I do have, than on family I don't even like, and who don't like me!

I surprised my "upcoming female victim" with a bunch of roses yesterday.

VALENTINES DAY!?
Propaganda day more like! If you dont give or recieve then you are left out. I know lots of girls who I like (and probably like me) But if any of us made a move then it would probably set back our friendship, Im happy to be their friends. Even though there are a few I really like.
One who I sit next to in Biology told me she wished to recieve a valentines card, I really felt tempted to throw down my work and run down to the shops.

I dont agree slof, im still young (well 15) and now I should realise christmas is dead. But the magic is still there. I still enjoy recieving presents but I also like the look of peoples faces when they recieve a gift from me. And I spend a lot of time with my family and it is great. Maybe its an england thing (no offense) as in wales it snows throughout christmas and everyone is friendly.

Ahhh, but that's just it, don't you see - you are still young, you don't have to fork out for the heating, lighting, food bills, do you? But on top of that, I have no religion, so the whole thing is pretty much meaningless - for me there is no magic, it's faded. To me now, it's simply another expense I could do without, most of my family are a waste of space anyway. They don't like me, because I didn't turn out quite as they wanted, and I don't like them for expecting me to. Most of them are way better off than me anyway, they cetainly don't need anything. I'm sick of having the obligation of the whole pile of crap forced upon me.
