Hey there everyone! Long time no see. Been a long time since I've been here, but I'm here now. For who knows how long.
I remember, when I first signed up here. My Profile Occuption read, "Produce Help/Wife."
Well now, it reads, "Produce MANAGER/Wife."
Yep, you read correctly. After working in the same position, and store, for about 3 to 4 years. I got that most desired promotion and am becoming a Manager for the store branch I work for. I start tomorrow, Saturday.
I'm being transferred to another town though, one that's farther away. But I'm not complaining, much, I'll be getting quite a large check including a bonus check.
What makes me feel great about all this is, it was all me. Not some piece of paper. My Diploma or GED (which I don't have). Saying I'm a certified smart person. But it was all my sweat and hard work that I put into the job that got me where I am now.
Not saying to the younger generation, that it's OK to quit school and you'll make it big in the world. I had a rough background which made me capable of doing what I'm able to do.

Sooooo, what about everyone else?

Congratulations Dawn, its great news! I also had a tough up bringing, more so than I would like to remember, and I also dropped out of school early to be a mechanic. Now after a few years of blood, sweat and gears (haha, bad joke i know) I am working in a performance workshop, the work is strait forward and rewarding, and i get paid well enough to stick with it!

Congrats Dawn, srsly moving up in the corporate world!


Basically I went from a 3rd to a 2nd class cadet in teh Aggie Corps as well as Midshipmen Battalion.

As for the Aggie Corps; a cool year ahead as Plt. Sgt. as well as a junior; new privalledges associated with being a "white belt".

As for the MIDN battalion; its the same ol' same ol' except the Spring Semester (next semester) I'll be doing what is reffered to as "Pre-Bulldog" training which is essentially getting yelled and phyiscal "hazing" in order to get me in shape for OCS.
