Over the last 18 months, everyones surfing habbits have drastically been changing.
How have yours changes?
What do you look for on the net these days?
What features do you look for in a website?

I don't know, discussions on topics worth talking about, I guess. I find casual chitchat on pointless topics far less appealing than I once did, at least online. I guess I can get that in the real world. But it is much more difficult to talk about topics that might offend someone when everyone I know I work with and thus cannot afford to offend. Anonymity has its advantages in that regard. That is why I have been shifting to forums that allow discussions of sensetive topics. Especially those with strict rules regarding evidence (i.e. you actually have to have some).
Oh, yeah, and user-submitted avatars are always nice. No one is going to get to 1000 posts at this rate.

Since as long as I've had the internet, I mostly visited AvP forums and websites, fanfiction sites too. That changed around April when news of AvP2 came out. I stopped visiting the sites, I gave up on mine(AVPNews). I still visit AXP and PAvP from time to time to keep up on the news.
But recently, my surfing has been about virtual series. They're ideas concieved like a TV series but released as scripts. I write for...three and read plenty of different other ones. It's a helpful hobby when you want to get into TV
These last few months, I've been surfing and joining more Halo sites though. I regularly visit the Halopedia and several movie/Wars based sites.

To be quite honest, i must admit, i have been spending less and less time on AvP based sites, until latly, its not that i am bored with it, i love AvP, anything aliens or yautja related, its just that i am spending most of my free time either writing or hosting AvP2 dedicated servers and Half Life 2 severs, but i am in the middle of making my own AvP hosting site, fiction works, art, RPG's, anything. soon, with the help of a good friend of mine, it will be up soon.

I have been doing ever more hours at work (bad pay so need the extra hours)
Then do a few things (maybe gym, food shopping, or aikido), before you know it I need to go to bed.
Then the weekend comes round and flys by! may be go and see a friend before I need to go to work agian.
So, really I have hardly had the time to do any surfing anymore...

That sounds like an idea Mar. As soon as it's up, be sure to stop and leave us a link, I'd really like to check it out. I'll even Submit a few of my own stuff, if you two are hosting Fan Fiction.
But, as for me and my surfing, I really haven't been doing any. I've got my mind so set on publishing my first book that's I've been too busy for the net. Yeah I still stick with my main sites. FanFiction.com is where I post any recent story, though I try to keep up here as well. Then I'm the Global Mod of a Predator forum that I've surprisingly been loyal to for years, by years I mean that I've been visiting and helping the forum grow, creating New Topics, a new Layout and recuiting new members. Then my drawing has suddenly spiked, but because almost all is non AvP related I post it at DeviantArt.com instead of here. And then I've been extra busy with work, my profile says, "Produce Help" but I'm in a position where it may become, "Produce Manager" and there is a Managers position open right now for the branch of store I work for but in an area that no one really wants to work in.
So, my time for Net Surfing has just gone right out the window.

I got 100mbs connection at home so my internet gaming habits have increased significantly while playing Battlefield2 and UT 2004.
My surfing habits are the same. At school i got only 10mbs which was still faster than what i used to have at home which was 28.8k dialup.

100mBit/s wow!!
Here they have now made the 8mb connection a standard thing, however they have not introduced a maximum transfer limit!!!
I got in luckly, signed up before my ISP introduced it. It's common for a 20GB a month !!!!
I got a letter from my ISP couple of months ago, so I am on an unlimited package and like most they have this "FAIR USE" policy. They asked me to turn down my internet use from my 75GB a month to less than 20GB a month.
This is so typical of the UK.
They now are talking about to introduce TV on demand. With the current limits that would mean I get to watch the news for 1 week a month.....

I think thats gay how they do y'all folks in Europe with that limit. @ A&M (where my speed fell back down to 10mbps), i downloaded like 5 gigs of ( 90%) metal. I used DC++ and was on the A&M hub (which is relatively safe to some extent because all students go through the campus scan, but they can get viruses afterwards.)
