So, you're studying, living with your parents, or working in something that hired you for your looks and/or ability to sign your name on the dotted line.

Every day you have some time to think and you have a career in mind that you'd wanna pursue--its where you think the money is, the power, the women/men, the challenge, etc.

What is your dream career??

I'm personally leaning towards expanding my current one as Lecturer at University into the tri-part career path:

Lectuer/Writer/E-Commerce Entrepreneur

Marine Corps Officer

PRIMARY REASON: They are the elite of the elite.

1. Benefits are far better for people who go career, and are officers
2. Retirement pay is better
3. The Few, the proud (enlisted) = The Fewer the prouder(officer)
4.It's way harder to be an officer in some cases, but the rewards are outstanding.

I am going to be a Biomedical Engineer. Electrical Engineering has probably reached a steady stage, mechanical and aerospace have been steady for a while. Biomedical, however, is just at the beginning of its growth stage. It is the next big thing. There is still tons of room to make exciting new discoveries, even breakthroughs, like few other fields have nowadays. It is tough, very tough, but it is fun and exciting too. It also provides a huge opportunity to help people. And the pay ain't bad, either. So ideally I would get into a research position in a research firm, a hospital with a research department, or in a university. I may teach, also, I am not sure (I'll have plenty of time to figure if I like teaching in a PhD program, hopefully). But research and development is where it is at for me.

That's what I'm wondering too.

As for my career. Never really had one planned, plus growing up I never thought of it 'cause my family had no money. Was planning on going into the airforce (this dates back to World War 2 of my family in the service) after I switched my GED into a dilpoma for 100 bucks in Alexandria but met this one certain guy whom also wanted to hang out as I did, a little while later we got married. So I guess a career is out of the question for me.

To all the young members out there, say school age. Don't quit school because it sucks etc. etc., stay in school, get your dilpoma and search for a career or go into college. Living life without a dilpoma is not easy.

I don't haver a PhD yet, I plan on starting one after next year, when I graduate. Biomedical engineers apply engineering principles to solving problems in medicine and biology. Basically, biomedical engineers design all the devices and equipment doctors and nurses use. Any device or equipment used in medical research, treatment, and diagnosis is designed by biomedical engineers. They also look at the human body and health problems from an engineering standpoint.

I want to make video games! Maybe write on the side. Either that or own a business, I haven't decided yet.

Virlogist or Psychologist. It is so fun to dabble with nature or screw with others minds.

I want to go into directing or just become a dreamer in some distant country.

Why not write for video games?
