I've read in other forums about current events happeing in the world or have happended, so i just thought that i would start a forum on the subject of Human Civilization. We can pretty much talk about what's happeing right now in the world or what has happened, and even what's going to happen to mankind as we reach into the future. Feel free to talk about anything that concerns The Rise nad Fall of Human Civilization.

I know some of you are from the UK, so with that said i just wanted to know what you thought about Prime Minister Tony Blair, do you like him or hate, I heard most of the youth in England dont really agree with some of the things that happen.

well i want kerry to win. (im in a nice caring mood right now. SOME ONE HELP ME!!!)
If bush continues on as president something big is going to happen. and i dont think that its going to be good. i mean good as in happy happy joy joy.
then again i would enjoy watching society destroying its self. and then people like me would step in and take over.

Personally I think Bush should stay unless Kerry has a very good idea for getting us out of Iraq without an embarrasing withdrawl like in Vietnam. I don't like the fact that we are losing a man a day in Iraq, but we can't be forced out by some punks! Also, I think that this is the last country Bush will attack in this manner without a contingency plan.

What Bush has us in is a sort of Vietnam situation.

A BIG BAD thing might happen with Kerry too.......who knows.

ALL I SAY IS THAT WE TAKE THEIR DAMN OIL!!

The funny thing about Kerry is, he got the democratic nomination but there are alot of democrats that are mad at him for wanting to finsh the job in iraq. He gave a speech just the other day , where he was saying lets finish the job in iraq and do a better job than bush is doing, and i mean if he has a better strategy im all go. I mean we need forces from alot more countries over there helping, and the bottom line is all we have is the british. And i know Tony Blair having a hard time with support from some of the british people, just like Bush is having a hard time with the us people. The bottom line is we need more counires helping and providing aid to iraq. Tony Blair just sent 350 british troops are so to iraq , now this is a good thing but we need this from alot more counties if we plan on turing over iraq to the people. That deadline in June is going to be very risky at this point, you know the US will have to babyset them for along time if we cant get some more counties over there.

I'd rather bush stay untill the Iraq problem is solved, he got the amaricans in there he can god damn bring them out!!
Then Kerry would be better considering he would do a better job at fighting terror, bush bankrupt every company that his father handed down to him so that defenetly is a good choice for money aswell.

Well going to war sometimes means increasing our national deficit. However, we all know what happens when somebody tries to turn that budget into a surplus like Clinton did. HIGH TAXES, and he sold military bases as well as military downsizing.

Well to tell you the truth, the only reason Bush took Saddam out of commision was because he tried to kill Bush Sr. George H W Bush humilated Saddam by forcing his stupid @$$ out of Kuwait, know Bush Jr. is finishing the job.

If Iraq did in fact have weapons of mass destruction, then they were shipped covertly while the inspectors were running around. By the time the inspectors DID get there, there wasn't anything left. The same thing has been done with searching for bio and chem-weapons. The labs themselves are in 18wheelers and are mobile.

That's aint the only case though. Yes, the oil is a primary concern as the USA is heavily reliant upon foreign oil.

But he mainly used the momentum from the Aghganistan assault on Bin-Laden as well as a vendetta as fuel for the overthrow.

But personally though, Bush keeps the military special and therefore ensures that they recieve the best and are not sent on useless wars where thousands get killed for nothing. If I am going to be a Marine Corps Officer in about 5-6years, then I want a President who looks out for us. I don't want a President who threw his F*CKING war medal and protested a war that men so bravely fought valent for. (VIETNAM)

thats the most intellegent and correct comment said on here.
OFCOURSE BUSH ONLY WANTED THE OIL!!!
HE IS A GREEDY CORRUPT BASTARD!!!
he is destroying the great country of america, and let alone the enviroment.
ofcourse one must commend the man. 3 highly trained and highly unexpected assasins failed to kill him. first the pretzel. second the segway. and third. the bike.

Well bush's poll's are down, i think alot of people are questioning his decision to go to iraq. And the people that do support him in the war in Iraq are realizing that Kerry might have a better plan.

If Bush wanted to be greedy with oil like how you are describing ALNS, then wouldn't he just invade Kuwait, a country with FAR more oil than Iraq and certainly less defended. The reasons are simple, Bush Jr is pissed that Saddam tried to kill Bush Sr. Bush Jr. is just using the momentum from Afghanistan to kick Saddams @$$ and I'm glad he got the bastard!

ANOTHER factor of his decision making would be the shady intelligence regarding the WMD's.

a subsidary of our vice presidents company is in charge of feeding our soldiers in iraq. i heard (i could be mistaken) that the subsidary company's food is so over priced that our government can only afford to give soldiers one hot meal a day. also. i heard that salaries for our soldiers are extremely low. AND!!! lets not forget something. This is not President Bush's army. He didnt mold it or create it. This is Clintons army. and as far as why bush doesnt invade kuwait (im not sure if thats how you spell it) he doesnt invade kuwait becuase that would totally reveal what he is up to. thats my oppinion anyway.

It would be incorrect to call it Clinton's Army since a large majority of those guys that are over there were enlisted and commissioned during the early days of Bush Admin. There are many, many vets that are still there from the Regan Admin, but you don't call it Regan's army do you.

Our boys have FAR better rewards & conditions as compared if you let a liberal get their filthy hands with em. It still might not be as good as you would like for it to be, BUT it's still better than if Clinton or Al Gore was in office now.

I was pointing out the more obvious and logical side of things about the oil. Yeah, if Bush wanted to do it covertly then he could do the Iraq plan. BUT since we are the BIGGEST damn superpower in the world, if we justify it is in our best interest of national security to seize oil from a coutry that owes us anyways, than I say why not. (even though we can't really do that without pissing off the damn UN.)

All my viewpoints support conservatism and federalism. Not liberalism. (not saying you are or anyone else is.)

The ONLY reasons why this war looks so bad is because of the LIBERAL media and that Americans have gone soft. We need a hardass generation like back in the 1940's.

Also, Clinton didn't do Sh*t about the terror situation and all those f*cking liberals are pointing their fingers at Bush.

I think liberals are stupid and wrong! They are good people, I'd go play golf with them, or if we both had children they could play together, I would go to church with them, BUT they are just stupid and wrong in my opinion.

I'm not a liberal, but hardkoreUSMC, dont you think you are becoming a bit of a hypocrite. I mean your talking about a total conservative nation. And the last time i checked this was a free country. I mean I dont call Liberals stupid and wrong, but that dosnt make me a liberal does it, i dont agree with everything that Bush does, but i'm still not a Liberal. I mean come on, your starting to qoute other people, dont let other people influence what you say. Lots of people dont like what is happening in Iraq and their trust in the Bush party about Intelligence of WMD'S etc, is effecting there support for the war. I mean what if Kerry is elected and he just kicks ass in Iraq, I mean he might have a better plan. Dont hate him just because he is a Democratic president. He could have a better plan for the economy and Iraq, maybe he does maybe he doesn't. Your not at any any position to call all Liberals stupid and wrong and they are not at any position to call you or the Presidnet stupid and wrong. Even if that is your opinion, its just a little radical. I mean if i had to be in a party, Democrats or Republican, it would defintely be Republican, but im going to listen to what the Liberals have to say, i might not like what they say, but im still not going to call them stupid and wrong because i dont wont them to think of me like that, an that is why Bush's polls are dropping. But that is just my opinion.
