i got another one:

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any coaching!

nope.

The letter "e", which is the most common letter in the English language, does not appear once in the fairly long paragraph.

k i got another one:

A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:
The Wife said she was sleeping.
The Cook was cooking breakfast.
The Gardener was picking vegetables.
The Maid was getting the mail.
The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murderer. Who did it and how did they know?

Here is a similar one to the "e" riddle. What is special about this sentence?

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

If you know the answer already don't say!

Here is another one. Who is the person talking about in the following sentence?

Brother's and sisters have I none, but this man's father is my father's sone.

It was the Maid. She said she was getting the mail. There is no mail on Sunday! (next day air and email doesn't count)

The maid, there is no mail on sundays.

Edit: ah, too late.

That's called a lateral thinking puzzle, here are a few more.

A police officer was seated at a cafe next to a train crossing having lunch on weekday afternoon. There was an explosion. A few minutes later a coverd pickup truck, a small car, a school bus, and a semitruck drove by the cafe in a hurry, since it was nearing rush-hour. Soon a police car pulled up and told her a bank had just been robbed. She immediately told them which vehicle had the thieves in it. Which was it and how did she know?

A family was on vacation at a beach. They stayed for a few days, then came home. When they got home they heard there had been a dissapearance in the area while they were there. A few weeks later they called the police with the exact location of the body. The police asked why the family waited so long. What was their reply? The family was not involved with the crime or criminals in any way.

The police arrived at a boat stranded in the water offshore, far from any dock. When they got onboard a sweating and obviously distraught man appeared. He informed them he and his friend had been stranded there for days and had run out of drinking water a while ago. The friend got so thirst he drank the seawater, went crazy, and fell down the stairs. The friend bumped his head and died, according to the man. The police chief found the dead friend at the bottom of the stairs withe blunt force trauma to the top of the head, in line with a fall as the man had described. There was no other sign of a struggle or anything that looked out of place. The chief immediately arrested the man and rightfully charged him with murder. How did the chief know?
