The news is that Black Isle have been liquidated by Interplay, they were gods they brought us some of the best RPG's ever such as Balurs Gate series, icewind Dale series, Morrowind etc. I'd like to know all your views. My view is that they should form a seperate company and try to carry on developing. The worst thing is that they were in the process of making Fallout 3 which now will probably never be released.

Morrowind is done by Bethesda, and I can tell you that an Elder Scrolls 4 is being produced - I often prowl the Morrowind forums so I know that this is definite!

Bad do about Black Isle though - sadly, it's all about money and it eventually corrupts everything, crushing all before it. Maybe if we are very lucky, Interplay will continue it on with the RPG's.

I'm sure most of the talent in Black Isle will be incorporated into Interplay and, hopefuly, their experience will shine through all Interplay games.

Unfortunatly it is a fact of life, that if you don't make enough money you will dissappear. In this case Interplay saw enough promise to take them over rather than just sit back watch them colapse.

I have to have Fallout 3. 1 and 2 were great, I was a bit disapointed of the Tactics. Black Isle is one of the best -If not the best- of RPG developers and it has to survive, someway or another.
