what do you guys see in the future for yourselves?

where do you think you will be?

Well lets see. After I finish college I have 2 years getting my masters, another 4 years for a PhD, then maybe 2 or 3 more years post-graduate work. After that, I am not sure. My options appear to be a research group, university work, or a large company. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps start out in a company so I can get them to pay for practical experience, then move onto one of the other two. I'll probably stick with that, but I might do consulting once I get older and more respected. I like the design aspect, so I am not sure whether I would enjoy consulting work or not. Then when it comes time to retire, maybe I can do some part-time work somewhere just for fun. No way to know how I will feel about my career at that point. I don't anticipate starting my own company but it may be an option somewhere down the line. Thats how things are looking right now. I'll go to my 10 year high school renuine and I will still have a ways left to go in school As for where I might be living, I want to stick in the US, but I am not sure where. I am really not too particular, but preferably somewhere near the coast.

Getting into the IT industry when I graduate from Uni this summer.

first when i am 18 and a high school graduate i am moving somewhere that is warm and not hated so much as the US is. probably Aussie or some nice little island in some nice tropical place. then i will get a job to pay for things and fund the start of my business. after that i dont know. i just want to live somewhere nice. maybe have a family later on. just enjoy life. and all the while be someone who doesnt follow societies path. be my own person.

Wow, AL. Leave the US because its hated? I couldn't do that. I love this country too damn much to abandan her. Besides, AL, how would the US survive without people like you living inside it?

anyone can survive i rekon if they can communicate and take their changes and care for others.

In my future I hope to stay in my current IT support gig if the girl I'm replacing doesn't come back from Mat leave. If not I'll have to look elsewhere.

Other than that, probably another child at some point in the next year or two.

yeah i am starting to get worried about him. i mean even if his net connection was done. it isnt like mar to not find someway around these things. i mean there has got to be a internet caffee or something where he could get on. but as far as i can tell he hasnt been on or anything.

well it will just have to make do. if the US goes down the path i think its heading towards there are only two main highways it can take after that. and trust me if things go down the path the US is most likely heading towards then no matter what happens u do not want to be in the middle of it. now that i confusing u all utterly i have only one thing to say to explain the basis of where the US is heading towards. "men who are given power always want more" there are some that are self controlled anough to stop or regulate themselves but in the US those men are no longer able to get into offices high anough to do anything.
but hey these are just the ramblings of a insane person. the byproduct of our wonderful society. i just know that i am sick and tired of this place. not this place as in this site. im sick of IL, US. This country is a time bomb waiting to go off. Future eh? well lessee here now. First off im getting the hell out of Arizona and moving up to Colorado to be with my G/F. Ive always enjoyed art and drawing (even though i suck at it ) and i do spend most of my free-time doing stuff on my computer, so perhaps something that combines both interests. Maybe a Game/Graphic designer, i dunno yet.
