So the best game ever hhmmm........uuuhhhh.......I need help on this one. So What in all your opinions is.....the best game in the world.......EVER!!!!

:edit: but then again I'm an action freak, so if you're into anything other than action games then I'll accept your differing opinion . I'd put Civ 3 in, but without a windowed-mode option it just can't cut the proverbial mustard.

Best game ever would have to be Morrowind. They just released a mod for the game a while back that adds Predators as a playable race to the game, weapons and all. It even adds Aliens to it as well, hives can be found across the map. Beautiful game, i highly recommend it.

And if you buy the two expansions for it (Tribunal and Bloodmoon) it adds a ton more stuff to the game. There are over 2000+ mods out for the game as it is!!! You can be a Werewolf (Bloodmoon expansion) or a Vampire. Create your own completely custom character, Buy/ Sell/ Steal/ weapons and armor. You can follow the games main quest or you can just freelance and do whatever. Again, i highly recommend this game. They GotY edition of it was just released containing both expansions.

Well i too have been doing some serious thinking on this one and all the games mentioned are fantastic games but i feel that the classics are being left so i recommend Duke Nukem 3D and rekoeitan series from KOEI.

I have to say BLOOD all the way! It's graphics may not be perfect but i'd say it can kick most of the new games asses if the grafics where better. My brother want's to remake it under the half-life or H-L 2 engine.

The best strategy game is C&C tiberien dawn. you can't beat the original.

i can't honestly say i have a "favorite game ever", but i certainly have my preferences
I like...
everything avp (with the exception of Extinction - a good idea gone bad), Starcraft, Halo, and Emperor: Battle for Dune.

It would appear Metroid: Zero Mission has replaced Super Metroid as my favorite game of all time. Its close, but I think Zero Mission is the better of the two.

i played a short while(i picked it up after someone left - no idea what happened) at gamestop - i can see what you mean!

Metroid:Zero mission is a pretty cool gamebut i wouldn't say it was the best game........EVER!!!! I'm more of an RPG fan and strategy so i'm gonna add to the list all the C&C games and the Baldurs Gate series.
